一路上有祢(1)
第一次正式的接觸祢，是肝癌末期的爺爺在醫院病床上接受牧師洗禮的時候，後來聽父親說，才知道原來奶奶小時後就接受祢並受洗成為基督徒，嫁給爺爺後，爺爺卻不准奶奶再去教會，但祢的計畫超過人的計畫，祢的恩典何其大竟讓爺爺在走完人生道路的前一刻受洗歸入祢的名下。在爺爺追思禮拜的時候，更聽到父親見證分享祢所帶給他的感動，可惜當時父親沒有再進一步的追尋祢，幾年後父親因意外去世，可能是因為基督教的儀式比較簡單隆重，所以當時母親選擇以基督教的儀式來辦理父親的後事，因此在父親去世後母親開始帶我參加長老教會的主日崇拜，或許是祢的時間還沒有到，去了幾次母親就不再去了，而我也完全忘了祢。
大學畢業以後，由於母親的鼓勵與支持，我決定來到美國繼續深造，記得在第一次從美國回台灣飛機上，我鄰座坐了一個美國青年，他正在到泰國傳教的旅途上，想當然爾，他不會放過我這隻近在咫呎的迷途羔羊，他跟我分享他怎樣從一個個荒诞醉酒的大學生經過神的感動走上傳教的路，當時我告訴他我相信世上有神，但我並不知道哪一位才是真神，所以當時的我可以說是比較正派的神都信只要不要是太邪門的就好，最後他告訴我如果我是你我不會把雞蛋分散在許多籃子裡，因為所有的世上神中只有耶和華清楚的告訴世人說祂是神，其他的神都是人造的，譬如說佛教的教主釋迦牟尼生前雖然也跟世人講到，但他從不曾跟人說他是神，乃是死後才被人當神來膜拜。他的這番話讓我開始思想神的事，雖然那時我沒說什麼，但我的內心其實也默默的認同他的話。
